Kuddles and Scales Rescue specializes in the care, education, rescue and rehabilitation of “exotic/pocket” pets who can no longer be cared for and/or need medical attention. They specialize in animals such as rodents, reptiles, birds, ferrets rabbits, amphibians, invertebrates, and much more! They do not take in dogs, cats, or farm animals. Kuddles and Scales runs mainly through foster homes and is in the process of becoming licensed as a nonprofit organization. They operate in the Bonney Lake, Washington area (with some fosters still located in Portland Oregon).

“I adopted a snake in the summer of 2017 and am in the adoption process for an iguana as of summer 2018. Going through the home, all animals are well taken care of. Everyone is friendly and healthy. Anyone who takes in animals from all walks of life and takes the time to do everything they can for the animals like K&S does deserves a ton of respect. I highly recommend this (unofficial) rescue for anyone looking to adopt a family member.”
